Effective January 1, 2026, SB 827 requires covered officials to complete at least two hours of financial and ethical training every two years. Training topics include budgeting, debt management, and public resource stewardship and ethical decision making. We’re partnering with Gerry Preciado of 34th Street Consulting to provide this free, virtual training exclusively to VCJPA members.
